An exceptionally rare and unique piece of player-owned autograph memorabilia from England's 1966 World Cup campaign. This postcard is purported to have belonged to either Alan Ball or George Eastham, given to a family with connections to Arsenal FC, who sold it approximately 15 years ago through Tennants Auctioneers.

Measuring 15cm x 10.6cm, the postcard depicts the squad, manager, coaching staff and team doctor on a harbour–canal cruise in Copenhagen during the pre-tournament Scandinavian tour. These black-and-white landscape photo postcards were produced in Copenhagen only and were never commercially sold anywhere else. It is not known how many players and staff had one, though Gordon Banks is known to have owned one, and these players kept theirs as a memento, getting their teammates and staff to sign it.

In the summer of 1966, the England squad undertook a four-match tour of Scandinavia. On 3rd July, the day of the third match in Copenhagen, Ramsey announced the England squad for the imminent World Cup to the press.
